Portfolio is in the business of converting a concept into a fully realised solution. We can work with you to translate your ideas into software. We will work with you every step of the way to ensure the solution is what you require. Our business teams gather the requirements and plan and monitor progress. Our technical teams work with you to identify the best technological solution and our testing teams work with you to ensure the solution works. The process does not stop there, we can support your product too once it is up and running. We can even provide a Computer Based Training (CBT) application demonstration to get your users up to speed quickly.
Best use of technologies
For any business embarking on a bespoke application the Return On Investment (RIO) is always important, there is not only the cost of the initial software but also the running and support costs to consider. Portfolio can work with you to ensure the technical solution maximises your ROI by leveraging the best use of technologies. In broad terms, Open Source solutions are cheaper to develop and support whereas Microsoft Solutions cost more however we take all factors into consideration, for example your current infrastructure, your internal skills and most importantly how the product will be supported once live. These are important decisions, if you have already considered and made those decisions then we use that as the basis for the solution. If you need advice we are here to help. We are not precious about the technologies we use, we simply work with you to choose the best solution for your own needs.
