Founded in 2002, Portfolio Software is the result of two professional consultants bringing their strengths together. Mitul Thobhani is a programming maestro and creative problem solver who works from a technology perspective. Mike Beardshall is the strategic manager and gatekeeper who guides the business and analytics side. In the middle of it all is their shared passion for finding solutions using IT.
Portfolio Software now has a strong team of technical experts, both in the UK and the company’s off-shore team. Our company is centered on providing full life-cycle management capability for your project portfolios and independent, objective advice on all aspects of your IT strategy from infrastructure, through to software development.

In his “early years”, Mitul dabbled in the joy of discovery. He put his fascination with innovation to work in the telecommunications and knowledge management sectors. Over the last five years, Mitul has delivered a range of software solutions and consultancy to Portfolio Software’s clientele, covering such industries as pharmaceuticals, finance, media, and not-for-profit. He has worked closely with businesses that run the gamut from start-ups to worldwide corporations, but his commitment to delivering effective, thorough solutions remains a constant.

Mike Beardshall, Co-Founder
Mike started his professional career in IT following the rigid processes that dictated the industry 20 years ago. Since then, he has grown to broaden his vision with a keen understanding of the pros and cons of all available options. His primary interest is helping businesses experience stronger returns through small investments in technology. His goal is to outperform expectations.
Mike’s specialties include logistics, supply chain, finance, local and central government, defence, and media. His knowledge base covers web development, risk management and aversion, business modeling, and project recoveries.
